Bird walk on Saturday Dec. 14, Berry Springs Park in Georgetown

Hello again! If you have not been to Berry Springs Park in Georgetown, you are in for a treat. This park is one of my very favorites.

Berry Springs  is one of the oldest grist mills in the state, built in 1846. The large pecan groves, tall grasslands, the creek, and the 4-acre lake make for some of the greatest birding in the area. Please join us on this very accessible and birdy event.

See Google Maps for directions. Unfortunately, it is not on the Capital Metro route.

We will meet at 8 a.m. Please be prompt and dress for cooler weather. Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Bring binoculars if you have them. I will bring extra binoculars for those of you who need them.

See you there! I am very excited you are coming. I know you will enjoy it. If you run into any problem, call or text me at: 512-461-6920. Thanks!
Virginia
